Meet Jason Tarpinian, our October Member Spotlight! 🎉

4, 6, 8, 10, let’s go @Jason Tarpinian! We’re so happy to feature this Community Champion as our October Member Spotlight.

Jason is a Project Manager of Technology at Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, and calls Minnesota home. About seven years ago, as an Assistant Project Manager, he first used Smartsheet to manage hundreds of construction jobs across the United States - on a single sheet! “I didn’t even know what a report was,” he laughs. 

Speaking of reports, Jason now uses grouped reports on every single build, and it’s one of his favorite features. “I recently used a group report as the core part of a solution where users could add contracts, costs, change orders, and invoices while tracking project balance right in the report itself,” he explains.

Jason ramped up his Smartsheet skills by learning from others, and gives back to the Community as one of our Champions. “The Community is great for discussions,” he says. “I often have an idea for a solution, but I’ll still search here to see if anyone else has different thoughts on the same problem.” 

Moving forward, Jason, would like to become an impactful Mobilizer at his company, and hopes to get all his fellow project managers as excited about Smartsheet as he is. 

Outside of work, Jason enjoys doing DIY projects around the house, refereeing soccer, and playing video games online (another community building space that’s allowed him to meet some of his best friends). He also loves hanging out with his kiddo, and they enjoy camping, soccer, and going to places like LEGOLAND and Disneyland together.
