Current User Report Filter to Include Group Memebers

Question

I currently have a report that is filtered to show tasks assigned to the “Current User”.

The Current User may have teams members who help them – say User A has three assistants. I would like the Report to allow the assistants to also see the tasks assigned to User A.

There are multiple Users who have assistants specifically dedicated to them. Instead of having to make many different reports, I want one single report to dynamically show the relevant data to each team/user. This is because there are several reports which are based on this “Current User” filter. User A must never see tasks Assigned to User B.

To note, this is based off a Control Centre Build. I have a repository of each user and any assistants they may have.

I've done something similar, If you've got your sheet or relationships between Users and assistant ready (Column 1 = User, Column 2= Assistants, multi-contact), then all you would need to do is add the "assistant " column into your target sheet and use an INDEX/MATCH formula to bring them. Then just add an OR assistant = Current user filter to your report.
