is there a reason that when I create a new Report (using the Create New button/menu) that the Report does not immediately open for editing?

(I can't think of one)

    Craig,

I've never noticed this, but from the HOME tab if you choose Create New Reports OR Create New Sheet, It creates the new Report or Sheet and shows the new item in the Folder you are in. You then have to click on the Sheet or Report Name to open/edit.

However, if you are in a Sheet or Report and use the Left Toolbar, Sheet Functions and choose Create New, then it opens the New Sheet or REport for editing as you desire.

    Thanks Tim!

They say you can't go home again, but that's why I have always done.

The toolbar is slower (more clicks) so I stopped using it.
it also puts it into the Sheets area so have to move it.

I'll start counting clicks and time.

    Craig
