Conditional Forwarding from Web Forms

Hi folks - our business has been using Smartsheet for around 2 years now, but we really haven't taken advantage of some of the more powerful aspects of the software.

I'm learning about forms and their uses, and I've come across a challenge I'm hoping you can help with.

I've created a form from a sheet (lets call it "Bookings". From "Bookings", one of our team in the office can take a customers details and create an appointment for one of our surveyors to visit the caller's property. The final field on the form is "Surveyor Name". I'd like a way to make it so that if "Surveyor A" is selected, then the data fires off to "Surveyor A's" opportunity sheet.

Likewise, if "Surveyor B" is selected, we need the data to go to "Surveyor B's" sheet.

Unfortunately we can't have all the surveyors bookings in one sheet  as we don't want them seeing eachother's opportunities.

Can anyone help me with a solution for this?

If conditional formatting isn't possible, perhaps there might be some way to put all appointments in to one sheet, then restrict each surveyors view of the sheet to their rows only?

Thanks in advance for help!

I believe you may be able to achieve your goal but using one of the Apps and Intergrations called Zapier.  I haven't done a whole lot with Zapier but I believe you can set up a Zap for a Smartsheet and if certian critieria is entered into the sheet then that information will be sent to a different sheet ie Surveyor A's sheet or Surveyor B's sheet.

You can find Zapier by clicking on the Account button in the upper left hand corner and select Apps & Intergrations and then select Apps.

    I hope this helps.

Do the surveyors need only a read only view of their rows? If so, you could build a report to show only rows related to a specific surveyor, publish the report, and share the published link with the surveyor. The report will stay up to date and wont require the user to log in or be shared to the underlying sheets.
