Formula Tips are Obscuring the Actual Formula
Hello,
Could anyone provide a trick to move the formula tip dialogue box? I am getting an Unparseable error message, but I cannot see the formula to check the syntax (see attached screen shot). Are other people facing this problem? Is it browser specific?
I am working around this by copying and pasting parts of my formula to other cells and then rejoining, but this is a cumbersome task.
Any help is very much appreciated.

One workaround could be to edit the formula in your text editor of choice.

It's a hit or miss problem that I have brought to the attention of Smartsheet. Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn't. I have tried all kinds of different mess, but haven't been able to figure out one specific thing that causes it to happen.

This is worse than I've ever seen it. I think they made some sort of mistake moving something around. Until they fix it we need to use text editors like Andree said

This continues to be annoying, I've noticed. This is not ideal, but one workaround is to make the cell font incredibly large. In this way, the formula tip dialogue box covers only a small portion of the formula. A bonus of doing this is that once you return the font to a more normal size, the dialogue box may stay in a more favorable position (as shown in the second screenshot below).
