Images in Templates

Is it possible to save an image in a template. I have tried but they disappear. I have all options ticked.

I understand that I can attach them but visually it would be better for a small image to be shown against the item name.

Would this be something that could be done in the future to save having as an attachment and then having to download and add as image into the cell once you have made your working sheet??

Hi Kathy,

Yes, it is.

If you right-click on the sheet and chose "Insert Image", "Upload from computer" and then save the sheet as a template. The image will show in the template now.

Thank you for reply.... I discovered my rookie mistake! I had the sheet and inserted the images. Looking at the sheet I then went up to the header and right clicked selecting 'save as template' and named it. Then when going into the newly created template discovered the images missing.

My mistake was forgetting that Smartsheet does not auto save. I had inserted the images and then NOT saved the sheet before making it a template.
