Updating a sheet with two web forms

I understand that SS will not update the same row from two separate web forms.  Does anyone have a workaround for this.  I want to use a web form to collect safety issues from employees.  i then want to send the information to the employee's supervisors to have them take some actions and report what they have done.  I know I can just forward them the row for an update but wanted to try to use a second web form to collect the supervisor's information. Is anyone using a method to link the information from the employee's sheet to the supervisor's sheet.

Hi Ray - Web forms can only be used to add a new row to a single sheet. It sounds like you know about update request which would be a good method to send row information to a supervisor after the form is submitted and allow the supervisor to add data to the row.

You could use reports to display all items that a particular supervisor is responsible for. Each supervisor could have their own report which would only show items relevant to them. Reports will always update when new rows are added to your sheets and the data in reports are editable directly from the report. Reports can even be set up to send to the supervisor as a PDF on a recurring basic. Here is information on reports: http://help.smartsheet.com/customer/portal/articles/522214-creating-reports

I second this request. A way of sending a second web form that populates data for diffent columns a second time round would be great.
