I am attempting to build a cumulative flow chart based on new, active, closed tasks. The struggle is coming from trying to build a sheet with formulas that will pull the information from the task list and hold onto the information moving forward. Once the formula finds the correct data it continues to update each cell with…
I have two columns set up, one with a arrival date and one with a start date. I want to highlight the cells in the start date column if the proposed "start date" is before the "arrival date." The purpose if to show that the activity can't start before the materials have arrived. Does smartsheet have this ability?
There is probably a easy explanation or fix for this but I can't figure it out. I have a sheet with about 10 editors that as things move on the sheet it needs to be resorted (sorted by a due date). For some reason I am the only one that can sort the sheet, the Sort option is greyed out on all of thier sheets - I've…
Each time I add one more row to one sheet (Sheet A), I want to trigger the addition of 7 rows to another sheet (Sheet B) . The data in the 7 rows will be driven off of 2 sheets (Sheet A and Sheet C). Sheet C is a static lookup table. Is this possible?
I was wondering if there is a way to have someone edit a field when you just send a row to someone. What I mean by this is would be the person receiving the email able to check completed or update a date from just the email rather than sending someone an update request?

As I add new rows to the source/reference sheet and my main sheet the VLOOKUP does not return the expected values. When I look at the…
Hello Everyone. The projects I handle are the same each time in terms of the tasks to carry out. but they can differ in duration based on the 'size' of the work... I am using a standard sheet template which I also use to forecast, I would like to change the 'duration' of a set of tasks based on a dropdown that would return…
I would like to switch the information that is displayed in the calendar view to data that is present in another column within my sheet.
I am working my way through a spreadsheet horizontally and adding the relative attachments to the attachments section to the left of the spreadsheet and labeling them with the same name as the column so I know which is which. My questions is, is there a way to just attach the attachment in the individual field that it's…
I'm trying to create a live copy of sheet1 so I can filter and share with execs. I know I can link sheets but I don't want to do that every time a new tark is added. Is there a way to create a copy, add filters and have it updated as soon as I add new tasks?
