If I want JIRA to automatically send a Smartsheets form used as a survey upon closing a ticket in a certain JIRA project, do I need the JIRA connector? Or will the JIRA connector not be able to do this for me? Any advice on how to do this is greatly appreciated!

It seems like you should be able to use JIRA and send a notification or similar and include the link to the Smartsheet Form.

If you have a clear list of what data needs to be "transmitted" from Jira to Smartsheet then we can review that functionality for connection by API?

Anyway we can make this view only for security purposes? We would like to prevent users from sending responses to other users by accident.
I am currently setting up an automation for people to get notified through their email, when they are prompted. But is there a way that they can reply in the email of a comment that will then go to the specific sheet. This way they do not have access to the sheet, but can just comment through email with updates?
