Re: Welcome to the Government Community!
Hi all. I'm Jenni and I live and work in Melbourne, Australia.
Working in the Not For Profit sector at a Primary Health Network with a workforce of just over 100 people. We receive federal government health-allocated funds and commission local services to deliver primary health services.
I joined the organisation 15 months ago as a Project Officer and had never even heard of Smartsheet. Now I'm one of the leading users and provide support and training for others!
Whilst we are technically not government, we are bound by government data security and compliance requirements so this is a big focus on how we use Smartsheet.
Smartsheet has mostly been used as the official project management tool for strategic projects - for their management and also reporting to the Executive and the Board. Dashboards are my world 😍 but as all our reports need to be included in a Word document 🙄 we 'MacGyver' a lot!
Other things we've created:
A tool kit for tracking overtime to be taken as Time in Lieu of being paid overtime rates (this might be just an Australian thing?). It is a thing of beauty, if I do say so myself.
Business planning mechanism including tracking against KPIs.
A connector (using forms and workflows for notifications) between a mental health referral intake team and the team who manage the services, to flag changes in services or problems encountered by clients.
I've been grateful to connect with @Mark Weeks who also works in govt in Australia to learn about getting the most out of Smartsheet whilst complying with data security and compliance.
I created these coffee mugs for the team I work in for Christmas presents 😁 My best days at work are creating things in Smartsheet!

"I’m like the Fairy Godmother of my university!" ✨
You know how Disneyland runs smoothly with rides, parades, snacks, and characters all working together? Behind the scenes, someone has to keep track of everything to make the magic happen.
At my job, I do something like that—but at a university!
I help people see what’s going on by organizing big piles of information and turning them into easy-to-understand charts and pictures—like a map of what’s working and what needs help. I use a special tool called Smartsheet—it’s kind of like my magic wand.
If someone wants to how a project is going, I can show them instantly.
And just like Fairy Godmother teaches Cinderella, I teach other people how to use Smartsheet so they can create their own magic too.
I also help with planning and organizing—like a behind-the-scenes helper making sure everything runs like a well-oiled parade float.

[Control Center] How to rename Intake Sheet? Admin workspace?
Hey there, we're trying to rename our Intake Sheet & wondering what the best way to do this is / anything to watch out for. We would also like to rename our Admin Workspace. Looking for advice before we go messing with anything. Let me know if you need any additional details & thank you in advance!!
EDIT: So I went ahead & renamed the Intake Sheet & when I went back to Control Center it was still connected & had all my settings as-is—honestly I'm really impressed with how well it went!! I'm saving the blueprint without changes out of paranoia alone, it didn't seem like there was anything to update at all! Next I'll try the workspace.

Re: Welcome to the Project Management Office (PMO) Community!
Hello!
I've been using Smartsheet for 4 years now.
My primary role is to create Smartsheet solutions for Project, Program, and Portfolio Management. I support multiple PMOs.
I also develop trackers for our finance team to support forecasting expenses such as hiring needs throughout the current year and into the upcoming year.
I build intake, change management, new business opportunity pipeline and roadmap, and several other operations solutions.
There's no telling where my Smartsheet development will take me or what type of solution I'll be tasked with next.
I like learning new ideas and approaches from my peers. I love learning about formulas I haven't used before, or using formulas I've already used but in new ways.
I'm looking forward to what this PMO Community will come to offer and include.
Best to all,
-Ray

Re: Data Entry Suggestions for Siloing Data for Radar Chart
Hi @Walter Mootz, you can absolutely do this with Smartsheet and I think it's a good use case for it.
I setup an example to follow. I created a sheet named "Audit Sheet", which has audit scores. Another sheet named "Supplier Sheet", which has supplier scores. Then a third sheet named "Final Sheet", which merges the data from these two sheets.
The "Final Sheet" pulls the data from the other two sheets by using cross sheet references.
If you want to silo the information even better, you can also require your people to enter the audit scores using a Smartsheet Form, so that they cannot see the underlying data sheets.
To pull the data into the final sheet, I used this formula for "Score 1"
=INDEX({Quality Audit Score 1}, MATCH(Trait@row, {Quality Audit Traits}, 0))
Explanation of this formula:
- MATCH - Look at the rows in the "Quality Audit Traits" reference, and find the row that has the same Trait as the current row (Trait 1, Trait 2, etc).
- INDEX - Use the row that the MATCH found, and then give me the value in the Score 1 column from that sheet.
Then you can throw this final sheet into PowerBI.
I hope this helps!
