Re: How to match clinical trials to subjects based on eligibility criteria columns?
Hey @S_Berkley
You're very close! Instead of using CONTAINS, since you're looking in a Multi-Select cell I would suggest using HAS instead.
In either CONTAINS or HAS, we'll want to use @cell instead of {the range again}. This is because we're looking into each individual cell of the previously stated range.
Try this:
=JOIN(COLLECT({Study Name}, {Cancer Type}, HAS(@cell, [Cancer Type]@row)), ", ")
Let me know if that worked for you.
Cheers,
Genevieve

Project Administrator (aka SmartSheet guru) position with CSU CEMML
Colorado State University's Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CSU CEMML) is hiring a Project Administrator to support a growing team working on multiple, simultaneous cultural and natural resources projects. These projects are often multi-year and involve complex schedules with numerous deadlines and deliverables. The primary role of this position is to use SmartSheet to develop and maintain timelines and clearly communicate those timelines with the team. The Admin will also build out Resource Management so the Principal Investigator's can track effort allocation and project spending. We have built a complex system in SmartSheet and are looking for someone with advanced skills to maintain and improve the existing structure. The preference is for this person to work at our main office in Fort Collins on a hybrid schedule, but telework will be considered for a highly qualified SmartSheet guru. Below is a link to CEMML's website and a direct link to the position.

Re: Introduce yourself & get to know your peers!
Hi everyone, I thought I'd already posted here, but clearly not!
My name's Stephen Cox and I work as a Solution Manager at the BBC.
My team product owns Smartsheet for the BBC and as well as dealing with all of the commercial/contractual side of things, I'm also very active in Smartsheet's promotion and rollout across our organisation.
We have around 45 different use cases - not all related to project management (quiz questions database, short form content planning, sustainability tracking amongst others) - and around 9000 users overall.
I love Smartsheet's ease of use, flexibility in terms of what you can utilise it for (it's not just a spreadsheet!) and ability to create quick but powerful solutions.
I live in Salford (just outside of Manchester, UK), but I'm originally from Liverpool and support Liverpool FC. I love travelling and music.
I attended Smartsheet's inaugural ENGAGE event in London this week and would highly recommend it to anyone who's not managed to get to one yet! It was fantastic - great networking opportunity and great to see how much Smartsheet is loved by other users in our region.
Re: May Question of the Month - Join the conversation and receive a badge
I found this fantastic community when I returned from my first Engage in 2019. That was also my introduction to SS, and the first taste of what has now become my new life and addiction 😁 The knowledge base within this community is so vast and diverse. I can always find an answer to my issue here. I rarely reach out to the help topics anymore.
Smartsheet is in my blood, so that makes you all my family🤩
Re: May Question of the Month - Join the conversation and receive a badge
After using Smartsheet for several years, our Success Manager pointed me to the Community, were I admit, I was reluctant to post anything, saying to myself, there ain't nobody out there that would answer a question I post, especially if they don't know me. Boy was I ever wrong. Look, in the end, nobody is giving away trade secrets! We are merely posting an hurdle that is causing us difficulties — OK, sometimes it's more of a road block than a hurdle. For me, it's now more of paying it forward, so knowing I have ask questions of the Community over the years, I do try to block some time to go out to the Community and answer some questions.
Re: Counting formula-checked check boxes in sheet summary column - returns Invalid Data type
Hey @Mross0878,
In your At Risk column, are there any cells that show "Invalid Data Type"? I just discovered that if a row in the At Risk column has "Invalid Data Type", that also gets sent to the Summary Field.
Re: How to calculate using a 7 day workweek (to replace NETWORKDAY)?
Hey @Kathy PPT,
You should just be able to use NETDAYS(), as that counts every day between two dates.
Hope this helps!
Re: Dashboard width
@Kirstine - this enhancement is now available via Smartsheet EAP. However, some of the features are released based on plan-type or to organizations that have opted their entire org into the program.
Re: How to Track Child (Level 2) Completed Rows Over Time?
Hey @Curculese
You will need a helper column to convert the dates in months, so that the data can be collected easily by month. If you plan to span years with the same graph, you might want to consider adding a Year portion to this data.
For month only, create a text/number helper column and use this formula
=MONTH([your completed date]@row)
If you wish to also combine the year with that so you can easily span years, consider using this formula
=YEAR([your completed date]@row)+"-"+MONTH([your completed date]@row)
Once you have the data in a sheet, you can create a report. You will bring in the Helper column as one of the report columns. Filter so that the report filters for your Level 2 rows. Group by your Helper column. Summarize (count) the helper column. You can then use this report as the source for your dashboard graph. Your data will be evergreen always.
Will this work for you?
