Re: Saving a "Form" for later use without submitting as of yet
Are there any updates on this feature coming to fruition? The last update was from March.
Re: Changes to asset Admin permissions and new Plan Asset Admin role, now generally available!
@darkmatter The initial launch doesn't include Workapps but it is something we're working on and will be part of future phases.
Re: Select specific person/email as the name for automated alerts
Unfortunately, the proffered solution only only changes who is listed as sending the email. The email headers still include a Reply-To field for the sheet owner. This addresses the concern of Smartsheet notifications looking like spam but does not really help the original issue of people responding to the sheet owner and not the right people in the organization. We need the ability to specify the reply-to address.

Re: Select specific person/email as the name for automated alerts
Hi @Genevieve P. ,
Thank you for the info. I can see the update still does't allow users to free type a specific email address to set as the from/reply to email.
Its restricted to 'triggering user' or 'organisation' if we want it to be somewhat personalised, however it'll still default to the sheet owner if there's more than a single trigger, which is really common if theirs multiple users on a sheet.
Will there ever be the opportunity to manually input an email address ourselves?
Thanks
Conditional formatting for Reports
The ability to apply conditional formatting rules from within a report would be huge. Having to modify the Source sheet for a specific report doesn't seem to be very efficient.

Re: Date and Timestamp Action in an Automation Workflow
I'd like to be able to create a checkbox "Start" column where when I check, the current time is automatically entered into a different column. This combined with a similar "Stop" column would allow me to calculate the difference between Start/Stop and easily gather statistics for the average time specific tasks take to complete.
Re: Date and Timestamp Action in an Automation Workflow
We need the ability to log timestamps.
My personal use case is to determine the handle time on tasks that my team receives via Smartsheet. I want a timestamp when the task is started (preferably this would be a workflow I could create; when "status" changes to In Progress, log the timestamp in column X), and then another timestamp when the task is marked Complete. Then we can log the handle time it took.
This is a really basic piece of information that we're shocked Smartsheet still doesn't have functionality for. If you look on the forums, there is a lot of discussion about this topic, and some really ingenious, although ridiculously complex, formulas and suggestions to work around this limitation. None of that should be necessary.

Re: Date and Timestamp Action in an Automation Workflow
It would be great if in the Automation Actions section, we could Record a Date AND Time. this could be achieved with an option under the existing 'Record a Date' action or in a separate action. In this way we could properly timestamp certain changes, such as item approval or closure. This is especially useful for Service Level Agreements that require requests to be actioned within a pre-set number of hours, not just a full day. I have seen so many 'solutions' in the Community that suggest to copy rows just to get the time using Created/Modified - this new feature would solve this easily.
Landscape View in Dashboard
Please add a Landscape view in Dashboard. This would allow for more widgets/gadgets across the page and enable audiences to use this similar to a power point slide but would also capture key metrics, summaries, and other relevant information to key leaders when presenting in WorkApps or sending out daily summaries automated or manual
Re: Quick Sort Card View (Sheets and Reports)
In addition, being able to sort cards BY DATE would be helpful to track higher priority projects/tasks. Just like Patrick said, sorting cards is commonplace in other relational databases so this is a feature that would be extremely useful on SS. Thank you for the consideration!
