Re: Control Center Profile Data Not Populating
One more note on predecessors and dependencies: You can have them enabled, but you can't have predecessors and durations pre-populated in your template - otherwise Control Center freaks out.
Re: Control Center Profile Data Not Populating
Also, Control Center is only unhappy if any system-generated columns are locked. You can lock columns and Control Center will still work. However, if a column has been converted to a function column, Control Center will not function.
Re: NEW! Dashboard Builder Enhancements
This is great! Now if we could just have a Flow Chart Wiget!

Re: Reorder Favorites and Pinned Recents
+1
I came to submit this idea and found this so upvoting. I would like to see Favorites Grouped by Workspace/Folder and then sorted within.
Re: Subtracting Dates Issue
Looks like there needs to be a closing bracket for the YEAR function? Maybe try this?
=IF(YEAR([Last Hire Date]@row) = "2024", (([Proration Date Reference]@row - [Last Hire Date]@row)/365), "1")
Note: you don't need the extra brackets around the 'If True' portion. The following should also work:
=IF(YEAR([Last Hire Date]@row) = "2024", ([Proration Date Reference]@row - [Last Hire Date]@row)/365, "1")

Re: Default a value in dropdown list??
You can, in essence. If you are using a form to populate the dropdown list you can put that value in a hidden field, and then change it after the form is submitted.
If you're talking about when you add a new row - right from in smartsheet? Maybe not. When I create my templates for new projects in our project sheet I have the template rows already set at my default value before copying them into my sheet. So it kind of depends on how you are using them.

Re: SUCCESSORS Testing
@Paul Newcome - This thread and its comments are outstanding, thank you! Like @Vivien Chong, I am using this principle to identify my Next Assignee ("Assigned to" field). Since we all appear to be blocked when it comes to referencing data where more than one Successor exists, is there a way to call out this risk via error text? I envision an amendment to my existing formula that identifies when a comma exists in the Successor field to say "Multiple", I just don't know where to start. Here's my formula...
=IF(Successor@row <> "", JOIN(COLLECT([Assigned To]:[Assigned To], Row:Row, HAS(Successor@row, @cell)), CHAR(10)))
Re: Pie Chart Same Data / Legend even if Amount is Zero?
Hi @Jaimy Tully,
Unfortunately there's no setting to keep zeros on the charts.
There is a workaround that involves having a value of .001 for the items, so that when they drop to 0 (or 0.001 instead), they still appear on the chart as a zero because there is a value but not enough to round up to a value of 1.
@Paul Newcome and others have provided this answer on other posts. Here's one of them, so you can see the workaround in action. Thanks Paul!

How to make a User Group a Dropdown List
We have created user groups for different departments and have several forms with a column of users. How do we make the drop-down on the sheet pull from a specific user group? Right now we have to manually add/remove names from each sheets' drop down list which defeats the purpose of building user groups.
