AGREE! So strange that Smartsheet lets you edit the cell at all. I've made that mistake myself a few times. We've had to eliminate the column entirely on reports because people didn't understand how to use it or forgot over time.

At current we are unable to change the end date in a report if it is linked to a gantt chart as the formula that links the start and end date stops this.

It would be great to find a way around this so our PMs can update end dates in forms.

Currently connectors (for my purposes referring to Jira connector) we have a huge limitation that only the person who created the workflow can edit it or troubleshoot it, considering how team generally function and what happens when someone leaves the company this creates unnecessary churn instead of having the workflows open to selected users or user groups (user group would be a preferred method). Related is being able to have the action taken in Jira shows as smartsheet or connector somehow so its clear what a specific user may have done directly versus the connector.

Currently, when I select the Create button in the left menu, I can select from a number of templates and document types but it automatically puts it into a new workspace. I need the option to add this to an existing workspace. Rarely ever do I want to create a new workspace. If I do, I'll go to my folders! How is this not already an option?

It would be useful to have a 'Hover to Discover' function on Dashboards, to add brief context to widgets without requiring users to click-through to open a new tab. Our organization displays contract performance data on Dashboards, and it would be useful to be able to add data context (e.g. data lag, or inclusions/exclusions) without taking up dashboard real estate and without requiring a click-through/new tab.

As a Smartsheet Admin, I want to have the ability to add descriptions to my automations to help other Admins understand how the automation works so people will leave me alone 😂 JK I mean so I can remember why the heck I set something up a specific way. 😜

Add a notes field that would appear in the automation summary for people to put process notes for others to understand process.

It would be good to be able to explain what a workflow is for / does in the workflow itself.

It's easy to see what simple workflows do but they can get complicated pretty quickly. It would be good to be able to edit this in a separate window from the Edit Workflow window. This would allow you to read the description while you are looking at the workflow itself.

At the moment I put this in a separate document outside of SmartSheet.

This opens up the possibility of generating complete documentation for the automation of a sheet but I will add that as a separate idea.
