Create new document/grid/etc. in existing workspace

Currently, when I select the Create button in the left menu, I can select from a number of templates and document types but it automatically puts it into a new workspace. I need the option to add this to an existing workspace. Rarely ever do I want to create a new workspace. If I do, I'll go to my folders! How is this not already an option?

If you have the workspace selected, the default creation location should be the selected workspace. I do this multiple times every day.

Auto-resizing of Calendar App
Having the ability to auto-resize the Calendar App view based on the widget size is needed. We have a "Due in 7 Days' calendar for our dashboards and would like it to be anchored at the top right.
