Do alerts work when using Smartsheet Sync add-on with Google forms?
I am using a Google form to populate a smartsheet. I thought I could get an alert everytime data gets added to the form, but it seems that nothing is happening, even though I set the alert for "anything" and "right away." Any ideas? Does this feature just not work because it's not a real person editing the row? Thanks, Beth
Blank cell only recognized as text
My spreadsheet has started recognizing blank cells as text and not zeroes. Every row in theĀ RequirementNumberĀ column is filled in with this formula =IF(ISBLANK([Requirement]2), "", [RequirementNumber]1 + 1) The formula used to pick up ""Ā cells in the row above it as a numericĀ zeros, now it is picking it up as blank textā¦
Link between two values (in 2 different columns)
I've created some values for my "status" column (In Progress, Delayed, etc.) and I've created some symbols to match these values (green, red, etc.) in another column. I use both. I'd like to link those values, ex. : if I choose "In Progress" in column A, then the green symbol will automatically appear in the column B. Howā¦
Daily Alert missing items
I have a sheet setup with a daily alert which sends an email to specific people of any changes. For some reason my own changes are not being included in this email. Is that to be expected? Are the emails set up to filter out the person they are being sent to?
Filter does not recognize "Date is blank"
I have created a whole bunch of saved filters that work like a charm. I need one more, super easy, but can't get it right. First colum is "Lot #" and the criteria is "contains Spec" - checked. External Resource Allocation
I use Smartsheet for Construction Scheduling and I think it would be amazing to have resource allocation for external parties or equipment. We need to be able to set up a project schedule that can allocate a certain number of workers on a job site to each task and then be able to forecast when a superintendent should beā¦
Removing a row from Resource Management when marked Complete?
I have a to-do list that is tied into my resources - but once the task is complete I'd like it removed from the resource view - preferably by checking a box ('Complete'). Is this possible?
