Approval Notifications or Simplification for multiple workflows

Currently, if you have an approval workflow that has Mutiple workflows, it will send notifications for each of the workflows. To prevent this, you have to add another condition prior to the notification. Basically, the first condition is not relevant once it gets past the approval notification.
I would like the first condition to determine the notification process. I have attached a workflow example of the workflow, then the modified workflow. It required me to add an additional condition post approval for both the Approve & Decline prior to the notification. If this was not there, it would result in multiple notifications, depending on how many for each approval or decline.
