Emails

is there a way to have the emails once submitted added to the list in a column so that it will always be there after the first time?

Hi @Please help
Mike is correct! 🙂
If you just want a list of emails in your sheet to build and add to your sheet, then a Created By column is a great way to capture the email address of the user who created the row.
However if you're using a Contact column and you want the Column Properties automatically updated based on what's in the grid of the sheet, then no, there currently isn't an automatic way for cell data to populate the Column Properties list in Smartsheet.
That said, Data Shuttle can do this if you have access to it, or Bridge.
Cheers,
Genevieve

The Created By column in my sheets is filled with email addresses automatically by the person who added the row to the sheet. Those are emails. They're added to the list by itself. So it's possible.
