Dark Mode for Desktop App

As a daily Smartsheet User with astigmatism (near sighted in one eye, far sighted in the other) I want to view Smartsheet Web in Dark Mode so that I can reduce eye strain and maintain productivity standards.

Putting in a pitch for Dark Mode across all Smartsheet platforms. I use Smartsheets all day and my eyes hurt. Would love to see this roll out soon!

My company has slowly started to use the external google extension for smartsheet. It would be way better for us if we had it integrated instead of teaching everyone at the company how to download an extension and IT would thank you.

I'm very excited about the new Dashboard THEME! however, I noticed report within the Dark Theme is still bright White background and I don't see any way to modify this.

If we set up dark theme, I would want the Report to be also dark theme. Anything like this on the roadmap soon?

I love this idea! The bright white is harsh on the eyes early in the morning or late at night.

Seriously, Smartsheet, it's 2024. Dark mode is table stakes to be a modern app.

Add dark mode on the desktop app, I refuse to use it without that functionality. Fortunately Dark Reader extension manages to fix this well enough in the browser, but come on man seriously? It's 2024, people have been asking for this VERY basic feature since 2020. Allocate some resources to this and get it done.

Hi, Please re-consider this request. As a father of two children with an inherited eye condition that makes it impossible to see against a bright background, I would ask that you consider that not having a dark mode makes it very difficult for a segment of the population to use the product in any normal way. This is basically like saying we are not going to give access to our building to someone in a wheelchair. I'm not being dramatic; this actually forces people to have to go to their boss, and say "I'm so sorry to be a burden, but I just cannot see this project. I will work all kinds of hours on another project, or anything to keep my job. Please let me work on something else". The anxiety about having to share your vision problem with your boss or co-workers, for fear that that will think less of you is a big problem. Please consider doing the right thing and figure out a way to redesign the interface so that it is gentler on our eyes AND opens up the app to those who have already been dealt a tough hand with vision issues. Thanks.

+1 Dark Mode please. We have about 50 users just in this thread alone asking for this capability over many years. Please listen to the user base or we will have to ask our administrators to switch to a platform that considers our health!
