Automation Notification -- How long does it take?
We are using SS to record events as they happen at our resort. There are certain events that we want to make notifications to key players who may not be monitoring the radio. I have set up a "when triggered" notify these people .
This seems to work ok, we are sending a generic message with some of the fields to their text, 555123444@vswpix.com or what ever their @address is.
My question is... what triggers SS to send? do we have to SAVE, does SS do it immediately? yesterday the message went out 2 minutes after entering the field, today it was 18 minutes... ideally we want it to happen as soon as possible.

The automation engine runs every so many minutes. I don't know how many that is. From my testing, I've noticed an average of 8-10 minutes for the automated emails to send. Sometimes less time, and sometimes more time. Never instantly.
