Owner and Automation - Can the Owner's name be eliminated from notifications?

I am the owner of the SS environment at my workplace and created several workflows. When the notifications are sent to recipients via automation, my name appears in the notification email. ex: <my name> via Smartsheet<automation@app.smartsheet.com>. I am not sending out the notice, the workflow is performing this function. How can I remove my name and use something generic, like a department name instead? Is there a setting for that?

The Product team is working on a solution for notification emails, however it's currently in Beta Testing and will be moving into the Early Adopter Program for further testing before a final release. You can subscribe to the Release Notes page for future updates as well.

Based on this thread it appears this has been an ongoing issue and no resolution has been presented. The most common recommendation is to request a product enhancement so that the change will be developed - this type of development is typically driven by member demand. Unfortunately after 2 years we do not see that Smartsheets has hear the voice of the users on this.

Thank you so much! It's nice to know that others asked the same question and disheartening to realize that Smartsheet turned a blind eye and went deaf to its users.
