Open multiple sheets in a New Window/Tab option

I am constantly working between reports, sheets, and apps. I need the capacity to open a linked sheet or a new sheet in a new tab/window. The workflow for opening multiple sheets in a new window is tedious and time-consuming. It would benefit your administrative users to be able to open more than one sheet at a time in a new window. I am frequently working on adding workflows to a set of sheets in a workspace and doing this one at a time is tedious and prone to error. I need to be able to open multiple sheets in a new window so I can be sure that I am not missing sheets as I open them one at a time.

Yes, I miss the days when it was possible to "middle-click" to open the sheets without jumping to a new tab.

Everyone would benefit from this feature.

Yeah. I like how in most places I can middle click and it will open it in a new tab but leave me on the current one instead of jumping to the newly opened tab. And when middle clicking to open a series of items in a new tab, the most recent one is put to the left of the previous ones. If I am planning to work on a series of reports or dashboards in a specific order, I have to either plan it out and go in reverse or rearrange the tabs after having to go through the tedium of getting them all open in the first place.

I concur. I am often working from a report on multiple projects or from a workspace on multiple projects to make the same change on each one... and it's really difficult to track which one opened, or to have to jump back and forth to open the next one. @Genevieve P. pass this on... we need this feature back!!!

Yes, this can be simulated by opening a new tab, pointing it to SmartSheet, and navigating to the second sheet, but what a pain! It's true that we'll never get the instant gratification of "something changes on sheet A and it's automatically, immediately updated on linked sheet B" that we get in a desktop spreadsheet, but linking sheets is critical; since we're always going to have to have two open at the same time you might as well make it easy (and follow the convention that basically every other web-based tool follows).

Maybe it would also be possible to prioritize updates to linked sheets that are currently open - the server knows which sheets are currently open somewhere, so updating it as soon as possible should take priority over other update tasks.

@Genevieve P. Having the ability to open in a new window by Cmd+Clicking (WITHOUT jumping to the new window on the Mac Desktop app would be spectacular...

I would like a right click, choice to open to a new tab or middle click and open in a new tab especially to open reports that are in a dashboard and Widget action is to open the report when clicked. For now, the dashboard window is replaced by the report window.

I am not sure the "available now" feature addressed the request... I understood it to mean the ability to open in a new tab by middle/right cliecking a link. Not moving an already open tab to another window. Either way, voting is closed...
