Metric Sheet Automation

Hello there,

Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a lot of data sheets that I want to summarize in one metric sheet. The data will be grouped based on the "assigned to" column.

Right now, if I add a new line to one of these sheets, I have to go into the metric sheet to manually add in a row under that appropriate "assigned to" person.

Is there a way to automate that so if I add a line to the data sheet, it'll automatically add it to the appropriate assigned to person in the metric sheet? I would like to not use the report functionality.

    How is your metric sheet set up? When I think of metrics sheets, I usually think formulas with counts & sums. However, it sounds like you're creating a report sheet as a stand in for the report functionality. Is this correct?

    Correct. I would love to use formulas to pull the data but right now, yes I'm just using reference cell function as I'm not sure how to accurately do this.
