Comment cell could & should initiate conversation!

Smartsheet has a facility to link a row comment cell to display last comment in conversation field - but this facility currently flows in just the one direction - from conversation to cell.

If this was changed to 2 way - Form comments could initiate conversation!

When comments are made in same linked cell, which will generall happened when a new row is created, either on grid or form) they're lost when 1st conversation entry is made (unless cell history is opened).

And, if multiple cells could be linked to conversation, only 1 form entry could be utilised for simple communications/status/remarks, as 1 form equals one row.

I'm trying to put together a shift handover workflow - 2 way flow between conversation & comments cells would be gold for my project.

Hey! Has there been any update to this? Trying to figure out a work around currently for this exact same issue!!!
