Hello,
We use the Jira connector to sync a sheet and a Jira project. The workflow is configured as follow:
Start date: Unidirectional Smartsheet -> Jira
End date: Unidirectional Smartsheet -> Jira
Duration: Bidirectional Smartsheet <-> Jira
The idea is to let Smartsheet drive tasks start and end dates but allow Jira users to change a task's duration.
The issue we have is that when we update a task duration in Jira it updates the duration and end date fields in Smartsheet but this end date field's new value is not synced back to Jira. Basically I have this case:
Jira duration update -> Smartsheet duration field is updated -> Smartsheet end date field is updated -> Jira issue end date field is not updated
If I update the sheet manually to update the duration and save, the sync to Jira works fine, e.g. duration and end date are synced in Jira properly, which tells me my workflow is working fine but it seems to fail to sync back to Jira the updates generated by a Jira->Smartsheet sync.
Is there a solution to this issue in order to keep the start and end dates in sync in between Jira and Smartsheet?
Thanks in advance,
David
