Hello!

How come the linked tickets under the JIRA Epic does not pull into my smartsheet but only child issues pull in? Is there a way to have all tickets tied to the EPIC pull in?

Our PROD/ENG sometimes have tickets that were created from someone else but then finds out it relates to the EPIC, so they link it. I want to ensure this is automatically pulled into smartsheets to keep track.

Seems like ONLY tickets created directly in the EPIC "child issues" are pulling in.

Can someone help please! thank you!

    Hi @alan123 ,

There are different possibilities for what you report to occur and it would be a bit difficult to determine for sure without actually looking into your Workflow configuration. For example, there could be Jira filters at play that could be preventing specific issues under an Epic that do not comply with filter criteria and, as such, may not be in sync within the Workflow despite of belonging to the same Epic.

You may also want to make sure that the Maintain JIRA hierarchy grouping: checkbox under the "Row Groups" section of the Workflow is checked to ensure that the hierarchies are preserved.

If you feel unsure any of these may be the cause of the behavior you are reporting or you would need further looking into your particular case, you may want to share specific captures of your Workflow configuration as well as the target sheet in Smartsheet for clarification. Please make sure to hide any sensitive information that you wouldn't like to share.

I hope that this can be of help.

    Cheers!

    Julio
