Hi Community,

We redesigned the Smartsheet email template for request access emails. These emails are now more easily scannable and provide additional context about the asset access request to the reader by displaying the image/avatar of the person who requested access to the Smartsheet asset and the asset location. This will encourage more stakeholders to review the access request and grant access as needed.

This is available to licensed users on all plan types.

You can also stay informed by subscribing to receive product release updates for curated news of recently released product capabilities and enhancements for the platform of your choosing, delivered to your inbox. As new releases occur, you will receive a daily email with news of what's released. (Emails will only send daily, Monday-Friday, as new releases are available).

Cheers,

Lekshmi Unnithan

Thanks @Lekshmi Unnithan ! The new format will definitely be helpful, since I own 25 workspaces and about 550 sheets, reports, and dashboards.

What I would really love is the ability to suppress the link to the sheet in Alert emails. The number of both internal and external users who click that Request Access button over and over and over is ridiculous. 🤣

I would like to see the requestor's email address more prominently displayed as that provides me with a lot of information on what my next step might be (inside or outside address, contractor, etc.). It is now in tiny font at the bottom of the email and used to be much more visible.

Interestingly I received one request this morning in the new style (from an internal email but is not licensed user) and two this afternoon in the old style (from external email). The external emails may or may not be licensed so I presume there will be two different styles of notification.
