Run an automation based off a primary automation?

I have been tasked to create an automation for alerting someone about entering in Smartsheet details the day after the primary automation sends them an initial request to input their information. My question is, is this even possible? I've been doing some experimentation and it does not seem that I am able to create an automation to send a follow up alert or update if the individual forgets to input their info the first time around. Any ideas on how to do this otherwise? Thanks! The context is travelling dates and airfare costs.

Are you asking for a follow up notice 1 day later if they did not enter any information?

Your original notification can leave a date in a "Date Sent" column. Your secondary notice can be triggered on that date if some other column is blank. Not sure if this is what you are looking for or not.

Yup. I am looking to send a secondary automation email alert as a follow up reminder for people if they do not enter any information in the first time.

Thanks for the help everyone. Got the first part to work, just working on the secondary portion for this automation.
