ISSUE: Symbol Selection not matching drop down

I sold my team using the pain scale symbols as a scoring system. What they like most about the emojis is/was that they were different colors. Easier to identify at a glance.

However when it comes to the actual emoji's in the drop down, it looks like these -

Thinking it was a browser issue, I cleared my cache, updated chrome, and relaunched. This did not solve the problem. I posted a question to the community board to see if there was solution. However others confirmed that they were also seeing the same thing I was.

Is the above colored options going to be part of a future release? Or is this a minor bug with the most recent update push?

Please advise.
