Use Inbound notification to generate row

I have a Smartsheet that is shared with me from outside my organization they send me a notification to trigger work for me. Is there a way to use their Smartsheet notification to add a row to my sheet? I have looked through the community posts but it looks like they are all for outbound notifications, not ingesting notifications.
