conditional formatting is not correctly transferred to another sheet

I use conditional formatting and have the following problem:
I copy lines from one sheet to a second sheet.
When I do this, the conditional formatting changes from (source sheet)
to (target sheet)
what am i doing wrong?
thanks a lot

Yes, unfortunately, it's not possible, at the moment, to have the Conditional Formatting rules added automatically when copying/moving rows, but it's an excellent idea!

Hi @Miranda_1
I hope you're well and safe!
You must change the Conditional Formatting on the other sheet to match the first.
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

hi andrée,
thanks for your answer.
of course i can do that. but why is the coloring of the conditional formatting not taken over completely? there are also colorings on the same sheets that are taken over correctly... and not only "similar". this leads to a lot of fine tuning. can't smartsheet do that better?

Maybe It wasn't set up with the same colors, or maybe if a copy was made, it was something from earlier with the colors used.
Make sense?
Or did I misunderstand your question?

hmm, does this mean that conditional formatting cannot be transferred to a new, blank sheet by copying lines?
-
we only use colors from the standard color palette
