how to ryg days prior to expiration, & after expiration

Need help with this formula. I have the first part

if "received" =green, if within 5 days before expiration date yellow, if = to or past expiration date red.

anything more than 5 days before expiration stays blank

I have tried many ways and can not get it to work.

    Try this - but you need to change the column names in the formula to match your column names:

    ==IF(StatusNew@row = "Received", "Green", IF(Due@row >= TODAY(), "Red", IF(AND(Due@row <= TODAY(5), Due@row >= TODAY(-5)), "Yellow", "")))

    This did not work for me. I attached.

    Received=Green

    Yellow if the date is 5 days before the expiration date "yellow", any thing that is the expiration date or past it "red"

    anything prior to the 5 day window, "" or if the expiration date column is blank, ""

    Hi @K8te

    I hope you're well and safe!

    Try something like this.

    =IF([Permit Status]@row = "Received", "Green", IF(Due@row >= TODAY(), "Red", IF(AND(Due@row <= TODAY(5), Due@row >= TODAY(-5)), "Yellow", "")

    Did that work/help?

    I hope that helps!

    Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!
