Need support using wildcard & sumif function

Hello, I have a sheet that's I'm trying to use the sumif function in, but I'm trying to base the criteria on a wildcard.

For reference this is a sample sheet I made, and the wild card formula works fine in excel. Essentially, I want to SUM the values in the "RoleValue" column for a specific condition in the Quarter column.. So if the Quarter Column has a Q2-2024 in it, it will sum each corresponding RoleValue cell that matches that (in this case the value would be 3.1. If I query for Q3-2024 the Total value would be 1.8. I can get this to work in excel with the example formula I wrote out in Column5 row2, but I don't know how to do this in smartsheets. I've tried a few combinations of using sumif and contains, but no luck. Any support on solving this would be appreciated. Thank you!
