Can I add summary row information to a bar chart widget on a dashboard?
I have a bar chart widget on a dashboard that shows the total number of projects active in different categories. I've been asked to add the total number of projects active across all these categories to this chart. In the report the chart is pulling the data from, I have this total in a summary field, but I'm not finding a way to pull that summary row into the chart. At the moment, I'm making do by manually putting the total in the chart title, but I'd like to make this as automated as possible. I know I can add this total as a metric widget, but the team who views this dashboard are particular about how it looks a. Is there a setting I've overlooked that would add the summary row to the main bar chart?

How many different sheets is your report pulling from?

The report is pulling from just 1 sheet.

Try creating a Sheet Summary field in the sheet that is housing the data. Then use can use a formula to create a text string with the count in it and use a Metrics widget on the dashboard in place of the title.
="Department 1 Projects (" + COUNTIFS(Department:Department, @cell = "Department 1") + ")"

Is there a different way to do this without creating a summary field in the sheet that is housing the data?

Does anyone have an answer on how to do this?
