Can multiple form entries populate one row?

Use case: A team lead submits a form reporting a start time for a delay in work, giving information about the delay and crew members involved. Later, the team lead submits another form reporting the end time of the same delay.

Is it possible to have multiple entries populate the same row so the team lead doesn't have to put the same information in a second time, just to report the end time? The purpose of this sheet would be to calculate the cost of the delay based on the duration of the delay and number of crew members involved.

Any suggestion for a work-around would be extremely appreciated!

This would allow for all information to populate in a single instance / row.

The concern about forms is that they will intrinsically be single row entries, so although it would be a different page / site to review, (email vs a web page) it would at least be a single line. The availability to use a form to update a line / entry is unfortunately not currently available.

I would suggest doing an initial form, and having that trigger an automated update request, where they would be able to fill in the missing information (end time) for the delay.

@Colleen Patterson I thought about that as well. I am worried the workflow will be clunky since the field personnel would use the form to submit the start time, then receive an update request via email to submit the end time.

Just trying to make it as easy as possible for them. Thank you for your suggestion!
