Why is my automation not triggering?

I have two columns I would like to run in an automation, one contains a check box and the other contains a drop-down menu of text values. I am trying to run an automation in which when I check a checkbox in one cell, it updates the "Status" cell in the same row to 'Complete'. The automation either doesn't trigger or takes 5-10 minutes. Is there something I am missing to get it to trigger instantly?

The slowness might have been due to multiple recently updates that were being released. It usually takes a few seconds. Your workflow is set up the right way. If the status column is not manually updated by anyone, you can consider using a standard IF formula instead of automation for quicker results.
