Restrict Visibility to team members assigned to your Workspace sheet

I am trying to find out a way where I can restrict the team I assign a task to, that when they login into Smartsheet, they are only able to see the tasks they are assigned to, however, I can find a way in the business plan. In addition, I watched a webinar where I could request updates in the emails, where the person would not even know I am using Smartsheet, how is that possible? Can I send reminders as well like this?

They would have to still be shared to the sheet as at least editor as well as to the report as editor to be able to make updates through a report.

This sounds like the perfect use case for the premium add-on Dynamic view.

In the meantime, here is some more information on Update Requests (which they do not need access to the sheet to be able to fill out).

Hi @Nanadafc,

You can create a report for your team with the current user filter in this way they can see their own tasks or on the sheet create a filter for the current user and share it with them will be able to see their tasks only. Let me know if this helps!
