Forms - Cannot create one

Hello All,

I am a Smartsheet newbie, and have run into a weird conundrum. In a test sheet (which utilises data from an imported Excel sheet), I am unable to create a new form from inside the sheet. When I click on Forms in the top left, the "Create Form" selection is greyed out. I am on a Business Plan, which I believe should give me access to this.

I know there must be a simple solution, but I cannot figure it out. I could not find any previous inquiries that referenced this issue.

In addition to screen captures, can you also clarify what Sharing Permission you have on the sheet? Only Admins and Owners can create Forms (see here for more information).

I assumed he had the correct access because of the import of Excel, but you're right. Better to be sure.

The sheet indicates that I am an owner. I have attached a screenshot.

So, I had only been playing with the test sheet that I had imported and didn't even think to see what happens on a different sheet. I created a new sheet and I can create a new form in the new sheet. So, the issue seems to be specific to the sheet I was originally testing with. Very odd. I'm off to import a different sheet to see if the issue reoccurs.

Last update for now. New imported sheet worked fine. The only thing I can think of is that the test sheet with the issue was imported under a trial license and somehow those permissions are limiting the Forms option on that sheet.
