Working with an Outside Party

My question is when working with an outside party that will need access to my smartsheet, should I share my sheets or add him as a user on our company Smartsheet account? He will needaccess to see our automations,etc.

As long as they are shared to your item(s) with the appropriate permissions, they should be able to see what they need to see. You shouldn't have to add them as a user on your account.

If you share them one by one, you can select what permission they get, or you could add groups with specific permissions and add the user to the correct group.

There are additional links at the bottom of that article that will go into more detail about the various permissions and how to manage them at different levels for different Smartsheet items (workspaces, sheets, reports, and dashboards).
