WBS or PBS in Smartsheet

Has there been any further discussion on implementing this?

If I create the hierarchy in a sheet, when i switch to card view, it is not giving me the view of all the "cards" that report to each parent; rather it is sorting by status or assigned to.

Any suggestions on how I can work around the system and implement something like I need?

Card view centers around any dropdown field. It does not pay heed to hierarchy but rather uses a chosen dropdown field to separate the card views. Each choice in the dropdown represents a lane.

I found this single note on hierarchy: After creating hierarchical relationships, you can display the parent of a task on a card in Card View by selecting the (Title of Parent)field.
