problem with the Aumaomation

We have discovered an issue with our workflow that has been affecting multiple users on business day 1 of the month. Task owners who are supposed to receive an update request notification for their task in the sheet are receiving multiple duplicate emails of the same request update for each task in their inbox, sometimes as many as 9 per task or even in some cases 28+ emails total.

In addition, some of those task owners are even receiving multiple copies of alerts for the same bespoke process/task even after it has been marked completed in the sheet, and this also should not happen.


We have investigated the issue and know the issue is limited to the monthly automations, but after combing through them we cannot find anything specific that is causing the problem.


Have you seen or experienced any issue like this before with Smartsheet or have any suggestions?
