Gantt bar color in Report not matching color in Sheet

I have a Report that references timelines in a Sheet, and the colors do not match between the two. Why is this and how do I fix it? At first it looked like the report bar colors were importing the colors of children tasks, but even after updating those it won't adjust on the report.

    In my post, first image is sheet view and second image is report view

    @shawnb12 ,

    In the Gantt, control/right click and this menu will open up. Click on Color Settings and the colors can be set for each of your timelines.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Shawn

    In the screen shot of the sheet, I can see the colours in the Gannt but I can't tell the level of the row associated with the rows (i.e. whether the row is a Parent or Child row)

    In the Report, all the rows are Parent rows, which means they are Summary Rows. In Smartsheet Summary Row Gannt colour is Grey by default. The summary row colour takes precedent over any child row conditional formatting.

    Can your report find the Child rows rather than the Parent rows, then if so, do you see the colours filtering through?

    Just a thought...

    Kind regards
