different % allocation to resource for same task

Hi,

I read about the solution to different % allocation to resource for same task (for example- Joe is working 20% and Cole is working 80% on the same task)

I have discovered a couple of workarounds:

To create multiple rows for the same task and have only one party assigned to each row with their respective allocation
Keep multiple parties assigned to the same task, then go in resource management's "Schedule" dashboard to manually delineate allocation by party for the same task

I am wondering if there are any workarounds that are less clunkier than the approaches I am currently taking. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi @sapir rabinian

Are you using Resource Management by Smartsheet, or are you referencing the legacy resource views that are no longer supported?

The second option I believe is referencing Resource Management. However I would recommend if you're only working in Smartsheet to break out the task into multiple rows, with multiple people assigned as separate allocations. Here's another Community post with an example.
