Limit Automated Alert to Contacts ONLY listed in the updated row

I have different contacts listed for each row in my Smartsheet. Is it possible to only send an automation alert to the contacts listed in the triggered row that has been changed/updated? Or will I need to ensure that a condition is added to the automation rule to restrict the alert to only certain contacts?

    Yes, you can do this. Your alert would be based on something changing in that row that would start the automation.

    In your automation, select "Send to contacts in a cell". The cell can contain multiple contacts and each will get an alert or a single contact with one alert. The Column Type must be Contact List.

    You can send multiple columns (Contacts, Contact 1, Contact 2) as long as they are Contact List columns.

    Automation permissions may need to be modified to allow those contacts to receive notifications:

    Perhaps do a test first to ensure it is working as you anticipate.
