When creating document mapping sheets for Projects, or Functional and Non-Functional Requirements response sheets for RFPs, it would be greatly helpful to be able to attach a single file to Multiple Rows in a Sheet. Now, we can only upload a file to a single row, but if that one file applies to multiple rows, it would have to be uploaded multiple times to each row it applied to. This can and will become a management nightmare as some documents are fluid and will require updating or versioning after upload. This means that the user would need to reupload a single updated file to multiple rows with every update. If we could attach a file to multiple rows, this would solve this problem completely.
Hi,
It would be a great enhancement to be able to add a file(s) to multiple rows in a sheet at one time. For example, I recently entered 16 rows of data that was sourced from one email. I would like to add that email as an attachment to each row so that collaborators can see the source. The sheet has a large data set of unique rows, so it does not really make sense to add it to the entire sheet.
Thanks!
I think this would be a great time-saver if we could select multiple rows and have a menu option that says something like "add attachment to all selected rows" and then we can add the desired attachment to all those at once.
It would be even better if when you upload the document to multiple rows and update one, and have it apply to all.

Following along. I also want this feature, please!
We would love this feature. We are frequently needing to attach items to multiple rows and there is no consistency between users. Sometimes it gets added to one row but other times to multiple.
I am in desperate need of this feature now! Any ideas on when this will be available?
I am also in need of this feature. Do we have any updates on when it may be available?
Please add this feature … it makes no sense to overload a sheet with the same attachment multiple times (not to mention the management nightmare it can become when updating or replacing an attachment). Being able to link an attachment to multiple rows would be a win for both Users and Smartsheet (I'm guessing bloated Sheets end up not responding as well as streamlined ones, so … fewer unhappy users = happier Smartsheet)
