Insert a column

Hi, I have a smartsheet that only has around 100 columns. I am trying to add more but when I got to the column menu, the option to "insert a column" is greyed out. I have not maxed out the columns or rows. I checked.
Please help!

How many rows do you have? In addition to the 400 column / 20,000 row limits, there is also a limit of 500,000 cells. If you are at 5,000 rows, it will not let you add another column as it would put you over the max.

Definitely not close to 5000, only at 85 rows

Hmm... I am assuming you are a licensed user and you have sufficient permissions to add columns?
