Send Email to Row in Sheet

Hi

I would love the ability to send an email to a sheet in Smartsheet.

Trello: https://blog.trello.com/how-to-create-trello-cards-from-email

ToDoIs: https://todoist.com/help/articles/forwarding-emails-to-todoist-JPJ1V339

We used to be able to reply in email to a comment that we were notified on and that worked really well. We don't always want to use a form and the integration with Outlook doesn't work on Regions.

Thanks

Hello, this would be a tremendous option for us as well... we are trying to track information from our ticketing system in smartsheet and would love the ability to forward an email from smartsheet and capture information from the email subject header as the the primary field and the body as a comment. or something of the sort. This would be tremendously helpful.

I would find this helpful as well! To build on the excellent ideas above, capturing the sender's email address as another data point would be great.

I'm leveraging the Outlook add-in today, but it's a bit cumbersome, and I have to add information (such as sender email) manually.

I would love this for the same reasons. It would allow me to work on emails that need actioning.

This would be a handy feature for our company. We receive engineering drawing requests, specification requests, and orders from customer service daily. These tasks take a lot of time for our engineers and because there's no way to add them to Smartsheet, our resource availability is inaccurate for other projects. This is also useful for capturing tickets and new ideas sent as emails.

I've already tried the Smartsheet add-in for Outlook, but the sheer number of emails makes it impossible to go through them one by one and try adding them manually to a sheet. So, this feature needs to be automated.

There's a ticket in the community where someone created something similar by using Power Automate and turning the email into an Excel file and then using Data Shuttle to convert that Excel file into rows, but they still had problems capturing the attachments.

It doesn't have to be complicated. And considering that this feature has been requested since 2015, I really hope to see it implemented.
