Gantt chart finish date change and synced sub task changes

Hello, I am new to Smartsheet and am trying to figure out if it's possible to do the following in a Gantt Chart/Critical Path:

Is it possible to have all subtask dates in a gantt chart update if the finish date has to change? For instance if the finish date is delayed and there is now more time to complete tasks/subtasks, is it possible for Smartsheet to automatically update the finish date for those subtasks based on the new finish date for the entire project?

I'm sorry if it's not clear, but it's hard to explain and I don't know all the proper terminology yet. I have used Wrike before and this feature existed. It essentially doesn't require you to manually change each individual finish date, if the finish date for the entire project has been extended.

You should establish the sub-activity/sub-task with dependencies by including a "predecessors" column. This will allow for tracking changes in the project's final completion date in case any activities are delayed.
