How to Count Multiples as a Single Instance

Here is what I'm trying to do:

I'm trying to determine the number of shifts a crew worked in a given month. What would be the best formula to calculate that?

I have tried working it through a report, but can't get it down to the level that I need.

You would need a COUNTIFS.

Assuming this is on another sheet, you would use something along the lines of

=COUNTIFS({Crew}, @cell = "Gold", {Date Range}, AND(IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = 10, IFERROR(YEAR(@cell), 0) = 2023))
