Please can we have a way of saving different sort criteria.
It is incredibly frustrating setting up a complex sort, then having to create again and again each time.
Can both sort and filter criteria also be available on reports as well as sheets.

This would be an amazing help. I sort my complex sheet multiple ways, depending on what I am looking for. It would be awesome if I could just click on Sort, then choose which saved sort I'd like to use at this time.
Also to have a default Sort that runs each time the sheet is used.
Still wishing this was a feature. Just had to resort my sheet 3 times for different functions. 😒And filtering does not sort, so even if I create a filter for it, it still isn't sorted properly.
Being able to save a sort would be so helpful, as different users need to see things in different ways. I have to constantly re-sort and it's pretty annoying, especially considering you can't sort after filtering. Also, as Admin/Sheet Owner, I have to worry that if I sort the sheet and save a particular way, it might change the view for other users.
Hi everyone, I created a browser extension that automatically saves your sort settings for each sheet. You can can click here to download the browser extension.
Then anytime that you open the sort popup, the extension will remember and load your sort settings for you.
You can also click "Sort automatically" to automatically sort your data whenever you change the data.
I hope you find this useful! I can improve this more in the future to let you save multiple different sort settings, give them names, and load them whenever you want. For example, having a "Saved Sort 1", "Saved Sort 2", "Saved Sort 3", etc. I'm improving the extension based on feedback from this forum!
